Pre-September 2020 PRO40 and PRO20 Upgrade

This is for PRO 40 and PRO 20 customers who purchased pre-September 2020 and want to upgrade their SteakAgers to accept the new Dual Mode Active Humidification. Dual Mode Active Humidification is for the users who intend on dry aging longer than 45 days and is a must for making charcuterie. The computer-controlled system introduces humidity into the SteakAger to ensure a 75% average is maintained throughout the aging or curing cycle.

Base Model (Non-Dual Mode Customers)

This applies to customers who purchased their PRO 40 or PRO 20 without the Dual Mode function. The customer will send us their control deck by mail, and the customer will pay for shipping. Once SteakAger receives the control deck, we’ll update the firmware, replace any bad old components, and add in the port for the humidification control. It will then be mailed back and can be reinstalled exactly as it was removed. All power systems will be the same so there won’t be any compatibility issues. 

Dual Mode Customers

This applies to customers who purchased their PRO 40 or PRO 20 with the Dual Mode function. The customer will send us their control deck by mail, and the customer will pay shipping. Once SteakAger receives the control deck, we’ll update the firmware and replace any bad old components. It will then be mailed back and can be reinstalled exactly as it was removed. All power systems will be the same so there won’t be any compatibility issues.
